The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Systemwide Digital Library Content Analytics and Collection Assessment Manager to lead and manage systemwide data analysis projects and processes to support decision-making for systemwide library electronic resource collections and ensure that mandated statistical reports are accurate, complete, and timely. The SDLC Analytics and Collection Assessment Manager conducts in-depth analysis of varied library collections and publishing data, such as usage statistics, financial information, qualitative data, and open access publishing information to guide strategy and communicate with campus library leadership. The Manager leads systemwide analysis projects, working collaboratively with CSU campus library personnel and SDLC and Systemwide Digital Library Services (SDLS) colleagues to support evidence-based decision making on library collections and services. |
Associate Environmental Planner

The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Associate Environmental Planner to assume certain systemwide environmental compliance responsibilities, under the guidance of the Director of Land Use and Environmental Review within the Capital Planning, Design and Construction (CPDC) Department. In this role, the Associate Environmental Planner will be responsible for review of CEQA and NEPA documents for capital projects at the 23 universities of the CSU. The Associate Environmental Planner will also have responsibility for implementing initiatives that are a critical part of the systemwide environmental compliance program, such as preparing and updating policy and technical guidance and tracking environmental compliance systemwide.
In addition to working with the Director of Land Use Planning and Environmental Review, the position will require coordination with the Director of Planning, Director of Architecture, and University Planners and Architects within the Planning and Design Unit of CPDC, as well as periodic interface with other CPDC units including Energy, Sustainability, and Transportation, Construction, Real Estate Services, and the Office of Fire Safety.
The Associate Environmental Planner will also work directly with university Facilities and Planning staff and the CSU’s third-party environmental consultants responsible for the preparation of technical environmental documentation. |
Assistant Director for Communications, Academic and Student Affairs

The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Assistant Director for Communications, Academic and Student Affairs to lead strategic communications for the division of Academic and Student Affairs (ASA) and serve as a primary liaison with CSU communicators to promote and elevate the university’s brand. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent voice and narrative across multiple disciplines and departments while ensuring alignment with the CSU master brand. Collaborating closely with Associate Vice Chancellors and Assistant Vice Chancellors for all departments, the incumbent provides an integrated communication strategy to support a wide range of intersegmental and campus stakeholder relationships as well as key initiatives such as Graduation Initiative 2025, strategic enrollment management and academic preparation. The incumbent provides leadership, direction and guidance for marketing communications operations within ASA to ensure the highest standards of accuracy, responsiveness and quality across ASA communications.
The incumbent ensures accuracy of fact, appropriateness of tone and consistency of message in high-level internal and external communications, primarily originating from members of the Academic and Student Affairs Leadership Team. This is an essential quality control function that protects the public image of the California State University. |

The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Campus Fire Marshal to conduct plan review and inspections to ensure compliance with fire and panic safety regulations and standards, as adopted by the OSFM. This position will also ensure compliance with CSU internal policies relating to fire and panic safety construction and may represent the campuses in interacting with municipal fire departments. This position will report to a Deputy Director of Fire Safety and serve as a Chancellor’s Office Capital Planning, Design and Construction representative for the CSU Fire Safety program at each CSU campus. Upon review and approval by the State Fire Marshal of the individual’s appropriate level of expertise, the incumbent will become a Designated Campus Fire Marshal (DCFM). |
