Assistant Vice Chancellor, Strategic Engagement Chancellor's Office

Board Relations Specialist Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Board Relations Specialist to foster an atmosphere of student learning, leadership support, and collaboration for governing members and executive officers. As an association with a 23-person board and monthly governing meetings, this position will support CSSA’s governance structure by assisting with the development of plenary agendas, developing minutes, and coordinating calendars. This position will coordinate meeting logistics for all in person and virtual plenaries and work with campus hosts on event planning. This position will help with the development and coordination of orientation and training programs that support student development in alignment with CSSA’s mission and policy agenda. This position will work with the Board Chair to ensure smooth board and committee meetings and coordinate relevant leadership development opportunities for governing members. This position will ensure organizational compliance of Gloria Romero Open Meetings Act, parliamentary procedures, and association policies and practices.
Program Manager, Academic Senate Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Program Manager, Academic Senate to provide management support to the Academic Senate, leads the day-to-day operations of the office and manages the department budget. The incumbent oversees administrative processes and procedures and implements efficient department workflows. Real Estate Transaction Manager Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Real Estate Transaction Manager to be responsible for the due diligence of prospective real estate acquisitions pursuant to PolicyStat section 9019, and for the development and review of other real property agreements, including easements, leases and licenses. Responsibilities include title review, environmental review, CEQA review and compliance with CSU Seismic Policy and other guidelines in the case of the real estate containing built improvements. The incumbent will additionally collaborate with campuses, the Real Estate Development Manager, and Finance & Treasury to evaluate the business case and financial viability of prospective acquisitions. The incumbent will provide expertise on title matters and business terms related to easements, licenses and other property encumbrances, leases, and other transactions.

The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Director, Federal Relations – Agency Engagement to play a key role in the Office of Federal Relations’ (OFR) efforts to make the CSU a thoughtful, effective, and significant voice in the nation’s capital on research, economic development, and other funding and any other matters directly affecting the system or its campuses. This position is responsible for directing and overseeing the efforts of the OFR in regard to matters of federal science, economic development, workforce development, and agriculture policies and funding opportunities and with any other matters affecting the CSU system and its universities. Administrative Support Coordinator Chancellor's Office - Sacramento
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Administrative Support Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to the Office of Tribal Relations and will support Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) and California Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (CalNAGPRA) compliance efforts as well as additional office initiatives. This work is sensitive, and the ASC should be a good listener, respectful, willing to learn, and communicate well, both in verbal and written formats. The ASC will perform a variety of moderately complex clerical duties in support of the CSU system wide Tribal Relations efforts. Responsibilities include maintaining the Office of Tribal Relations’ calendar, coordinating travel arrangements, planning and scheduling in-person and virtual meetings (including events and trainings), conducting data entry, generating and processing documents, overseeing project budgets and tracking expenses, creating and managing filings systems to track and archive sensitive information and communications, serves as the primary point of contact for general inquires, and assists as needed with departmental activities. Some travel may be required to assist with off-site events or projects. Additionally, the ASC oversees the office and performs other duties as assigned.
Senior Fire Plans Examiner Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Senior Fire Plans Examiner to primarily conduct plan review to ensure compliance with fire and life safety regulations and standards, as adopted by the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM). This position will ensure compliance with CSU internal policies relating to fire and panic safety construction and may represent the campus in interacting with municipal fire departments. As a Senior Plans Examiner this position will assist the Deputy Director with plan intake, assign and review plan review work of lower-level examiners, and campus communications.
