Systemwide Digital Library Content Analytics and Collection Assessment Manager Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Systemwide Digital Library Content Analytics and Collection Assessment Manager to lead and manage systemwide data analysis projects and processes to support decision-making for systemwide library electronic resource collections and ensure that mandated statistical reports are accurate, complete, and timely. The SDLC Analytics and Collection Assessment Manager conducts in-depth analysis of varied library collections and publishing data, such as usage statistics, financial information, qualitative data, and open access publishing information to guide strategy and communicate with campus library leadership. The Manager leads systemwide analysis projects, working collaboratively with CSU campus library personnel and SDLC and Systemwide Digital Library Services (SDLS) colleagues to support evidence-based decision making on library collections and services.
Associate Environmental Planner Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Associate Environmental Planner to assume certain systemwide environmental compliance responsibilities, under the guidance of the Director of Land Use and Environmental Review within the Capital Planning, Design and Construction (CPDC) Department. In this role, the Associate Environmental Planner will be responsible for review of CEQA and NEPA documents for capital projects at the 23 universities of the CSU. The Associate Environmental Planner will also have responsibility for implementing initiatives that are a critical part of the systemwide environmental compliance program, such as preparing and updating policy and technical guidance and tracking environmental compliance systemwide. In addition to working with the Director of Land Use Planning and Environmental Review, the position will require coordination with the Director of Planning, Director of Architecture, and University Planners and Architects within the Planning and Design Unit of CPDC, as well as periodic interface with other CPDC units including Energy, Sustainability, and Transportation, Construction, Real Estate Services, and the Office of Fire Safety. The Associate Environmental Planner will also work directly with university Facilities and Planning staff and the CSU’s third-party environmental consultants responsible for the preparation of technical environmental documentation.
Human Resources Business Systems Analyst Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Human Resources Business Systems Analyst to provide functional support for CSU's PeopleSoft HCM application within Information Systems. Information Systems’ Application Development area encompasses application support and upgrade activities for 23 campuses and the CSU Chancellor’s Office (CO), integration with other third-party/external and/or internal systems and the consolidation of the HR databases implementation (CHRS). Scope 3 Emissions Manager Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Scope 3 Emissions Manager to manage the strategy for reducing systemwide Scope 3 carbon emissions to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045 in accordance with CSU Sustainability Policy (PolicyStat ID 11699668) and state goals (EO B-55-18). This position will manage and oversee the strategic development of programming related to tracking, reporting, and implementation of initiatives designed to reduce Scope 3 emissions generated by CSU activities, which are estimated to represent the largest proportion of systemwide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions This position will establish and provide formal direction to campuses for plans, capital projects, and auxiliary activities to integrate Scope 3 mitigation, reduction, and cost-effectiveness best practices. This position will spearhead partnerships as well as the promotion of and advocacy for additional investment in CSU Scope 3 emissions reduction efforts with various internal and external stakeholders.
Assistant Director for Communications, Academic and Student Affairs Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Assistant Director for Communications, Academic and Student Affairs to lead strategic communications for the division of Academic and Student Affairs (ASA) and serve as a primary liaison with CSU communicators to promote and elevate the university’s brand. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent voice and narrative across multiple disciplines and departments while ensuring alignment with the CSU master brand. Collaborating closely with Associate Vice Chancellors and Assistant Vice Chancellors for all departments, the incumbent provides an integrated communication strategy to support a wide range of intersegmental and campus stakeholder relationships as well as key initiatives such as Graduation Initiative 2025, strategic enrollment management and academic preparation. The Assistant Director will advise the Vice President of Systemwide Affairs and Systemwide Affairs Committee on systemwide policy development and engagement; will develop, implement, and manage systemwide affairs policy development and programs in support of CSSA’s policy agenda; and manage student engagement opportunities at the system level such as Systemwide Committee appointments and the search process for the student trustees, including advising the Student Trustee Committee. The Assistant Director will work collaboratively with the Office of Government Relations to determine implementation impacts on legislation relevant to CSU students and ensure student-centered implementation of CSSA supported legislation. The Assistant Director will serve as the staff liaison between the Cal State Student Association and the Alumni Council and Academic Senate of the CSU.
Financial and Operations Specialist, APIFD Chancellor's Office

This position leads, coordinates, administers, and analyzes the fiscal and budgetary policies and procedures for all managed budgets within Academic Preparation, Innovation & Faculty Programs (APIFD with varying complex fund sources and constraints. Upon review and approval by the State Fire Marshal of the individual’s appropriate level of expertise, the incumbent will become a Designated Campus Fire Marshal (DCFM).

The Systemwide Senior Director for Civil Rights serves as a subject-matter expert on programming and services required by Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, VAWA the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), CA Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), and all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as institutional policies and procedures.
University Counsel - Civil Rights Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a University Counsel – Civil Rights who will be an attorney in the Office of General Counsel in the headquarters office in Long Beach and will be assigned to work systemwide in the Chancellor’s Office. The incumbent will be assigned to and focused on advising one of several systemwide Civil Rights Directors in Systemwide Human Resources (or an equivalent position), and the correlating campus Title IX and Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation administrators which the assigned systemwide Civil Rights Director oversees (generally between four and five campuses). The incumbent will also provide legal advice and counsel to the Civil Rights unit of Systemwide Human Resources, as well as to all attorneys in the Office of General Counsel, and other Chancellor’s Office and campus administrators, and will be a subject matter expert in all matters related to applicable Civil Rights laws, regulations, and policies.
