The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Executive Assistant to provides executive-level administrative and professional to the Vice Chancellor (VC), External Relations & Communications. This position is the first point of contact for the Office of the VC and will perform highly sensitive and confidential executive-level support work requiring an awareness of the Office of the VC priorities and an understanding of the functions of the ERC division in relation to other units of the Office of the Chancellor, Board of Trustees and CSU campuses.
Assistant Director, Finance and Administration Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Assistant Director, Finance and Administration to responsible for managing IP operational services, which include principal advisor to the Executive Director on the annual budget; financial and budgetary oversight of IP transactions; consultation and assistance to the Executive Director on global human resource activities; organizational effectiveness; and technology and application support for overseas study centers. Executive Writing Manager Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Executive Writing Manager to write and edit communication materials for senior executives in the Chancellor’s Office, most notably the Chancellor, Board Chair and the chiefs of staff of the Executive Office and the Office of the Board of Trustees. These projects include, but are not limited to, speeches, talking points, correspondence, social media, event briefings, presentations, op eds, statements, reports and memos. The Executive Writing Manager will also develop and execute social media strategy. Alongside other members of the Executive Writing team, the Executive Writing Manager ensures accuracy of fact, appropriateness of tone and consistency of message in high-level internal and external communications. Assistant Director for Communications, Academic and Student Affairs Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Assistant Director for Communications, Academic and Student Affairs to lead strategic communications for the division of Academic and Student Affairs (ASA) and serve as a primary liaison with CSU communicators to promote and elevate the university’s brand. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent voice and narrative across multiple disciplines and departments while ensuring alignment with the CSU master brand. Collaborating closely with Associate Vice Chancellors and Assistant Vice Chancellors for all departments, the incumbent provides an integrated communication strategy to support a wide range of intersegmental and campus stakeholder relationships as well as key initiatives such as Graduation Initiative 2025, strategic enrollment management and academic preparation. Program Manager, Academic Senate Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Program Manager, Academic Senate to provide management support to the Academic Senate, leads the day-to-day operations of the office and manages the department budget. The incumbent oversees administrative processes and procedures and implements efficient department workflows. While supervised by the AVC, the Program Manager also maintains a close collaborative relationship with the Chair of the Academic Senate and works at the day-to-day direction and guidance of the Chair. The incumbent works collaboratively with the ASCSU executive officers, provides professional support to the committees and senators, and maintains strong working relationships and efforts that support Academic Senate goals.
Real Estate Transaction Manager Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Real Estate Transaction Manager to be responsible for the due diligence of prospective real estate acquisitions pursuant to PolicyStat section 9019, and for the development and review of other real property agreements, including easements, leases and licenses. Responsibilities include title review, environmental review, CEQA review and compliance with CSU Seismic Policy and other guidelines in the case of the real estate containing built improvements. The incumbent will additionally collaborate with campuses, the Real Estate Development Manager, and Finance & Treasury to evaluate the business case and financial viability of prospective acquisitions. The incumbent will provide expertise on title matters and business terms related to easements, licenses and other property encumbrances, leases, and other transactions.
Director, Federal Relations - Agency Engagement Chancellor's Office - Washington D.C.
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Director, Federal Relations – Agency Engagement to play a key role in the Office of Federal Relations’ (OFR) efforts to make the CSU a thoughtful, effective, and significant voice in the nation’s capital on research, economic development, and other funding and any other matters directly affecting the system or its campuses. This position is responsible for directing and overseeing the efforts of the OFR in regard to matters of federal science, economic development, workforce development, and agriculture policies and funding opportunities and with any other matters affecting the CSU system and its universities. At the direction of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Federal Relations, the director takes a proactive role in advancing the system's agenda in the nation's capital through effective and responsive interaction with federal funding agencies in the Executive branch and Congress, provides strategic advice regarding outreach and communications on issues of importance to internal audiences within CSU universities and the Chancellor’s Office, as well as external audiences such as DC-based higher education and science associations and coalitions as well as think tanks, and other national thought leaders.

Senior Fire Plans Examiner Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Senior Fire Plans Examiner to primarily conduct plan review to ensure compliance with fire and life safety regulations and standards, as adopted by the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM). This position will ensure compliance with CSU internal policies relating to fire and panic safety construction and may represent the campus in interacting with municipal fire departments. As a Senior Plans Examiner this position will assist the Deputy Director with plan intake, assign and review plan review work of lower-level examiners, and campus communications. The Senior Plans Examiner will also serve as a technical resource to the other Plans Examiners.
University Counsel Chancellor's Office
The University Counsel will be located in the headquarters office in Long Beach and assigned to a CSU campus or campuses to serve as the principal lawyer for that campus or campuses. In addition to campus responsibilities, the University Counsel will have responsibility for various systemwide matters and will be responsible to serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of law.
