Systemwide Associate Director, Financial Aid Programs Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Systemwide Associate Director, Financial Aid Programs to manage the collection, compilation, analyses, maintenance, and reporting of systemwide current and historical financial aid data internally and at the state and national level. The incumbent will provide leadership for the financial aid unit and be the primary liaison with the Chancellor’s Office (CO) Common Management Systems (CMS) team. This position will work with campuses and the CO CMS team on implementing all needed PeopleSoft functionality as well as any additional software systems. This position will assist in identifying and proposing systemwide policies. The incumbent manages the development, queries, and procedures for financial aid. The incumbent oversees projects; including but not limited to reports, forecasts, IPEDS, and ad hoc projects. The incumbent also oversees changes to the financial aid web pages and publications. The incumbent represents the CSU on various intersegmental committees and task forces at the statewide and federal level. The incumbent is expected to provide project management, regulatory, statutory, and audit guidance; as well as conduct presentations to campus aid directors, business offices, CSU (CMS), and educational partners. The incumbent oversees contracts of systemwide loan servicing for Federal Perkins loan, California dream loan, federal nursing loans, and systemwide institutional loans and collection agency contracts and audits of invoices provided to the CSU Chancellor’s Office and serves as the primary Chancellor’s Office liaison with campus business offices, student financial services, and collection personnel on issues and policies related to these critical services. The incumbent interfaces with the public and students on financial aid related matters.
Assistant Vice Chancellor, Federal Relations Chancellor's Office - Washington D.C.
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Assistant Vice Chancellor, Federal Relations to be the chief strategist and lead advocate representing the interests of the California State University system before the executive and legislative branches of federal government. Under the general direction of the Vice Chancellor for External Relations and Communications, the AVC Federal Relations works with the Board of Trustees, Chancellor, and senior leadership across the university to develop federal legislative priorities and seek federal appropriations. Federal Relations teams with legislative liaisons from the 23 CSU universities to advance the CSU’s collective priorities and promote the value of investment in higher education. The AVC, Federal Relations serves as a thought leader and strategic partner with higher education associations and other higher education systems and universities.
Director of Planning Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Director of Planning to be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of University Planners and Associate University Planners as they provide support to campuses on a wide variety of planning tasks. Primary responsibilities include; close collaboration and building of strong ties & relationships with all of the 23 CSU University campuses; annual production of the preliminary and final Five-Year Plans; responding to individual campus requests related to planning issues; providing training to unit staff, CPDC staff and campus partners; systemwide leadership and support to campuses for all planning functions relating to the physical facilities within the California State University system.

Information Systems' Application Development area encompasses application support and upgrade activities for 23 campuses and the CSU Chancellor’s Office (CO), integration with other third-party/external and/or internal systems, and the consolidation of the HR databases implementation (CHRS). The HR Senior Business Systems Analyst requires proactive initiative to resolve the most complex HCM application issues in support/development areas, including implementation, system analysis, planning, design, development, and support of the HR application. Specific functional support assignments may change at any time based on Application Development's projects and priorities, including supporting other applications within the area.

The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Fire Plans Examiner to conduct plan review to ensure compliance with fire and life safety regulations and standards, as adopted by the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM). This position will also ensure compliance with CSU internal policies relating to fire and panic safety construction and may represent the campus in interacting with municipal fire departments.

The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Campus Fire Marshal to conduct plan review and inspections to ensure compliance with fire and panic safety regulations and standards, as adopted by the OSFM. This position will also ensure compliance with CSU internal policies relating to fire and panic safety construction and may represent the campuses in interacting with municipal fire departments. This position will report to a Deputy Director of Fire Safety and serve as a Chancellor’s Office Capital Planning, Design and Construction representative for the CSU Fire Safety program at each CSU campus. Upon review and approval by the State Fire Marshal of the individual’s appropriate level of expertise, the incumbent will become a Designated Campus Fire Marshal (DCFM).

University Counsel - Civil Rights Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a University Counsel – Civil Rights who will be an attorney in the Office of General Counsel in the headquarters office in Long Beach and will be assigned to work systemwide in the Chancellor’s Office. The incumbent will be assigned to and focused on advising one of several systemwide Civil Rights Directors in Systemwide Human Resources (or an equivalent position), and the correlating campus Title IX and Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation administrators which the assigned systemwide Civil Rights Director oversees (generally between four and five campuses). The incumbent will also provide legal advice and counsel to the Civil Rights unit of Systemwide Human Resources, as well as to all attorneys in the Office of General Counsel, and other Chancellor’s Office and campus administrators, and will be a subject matter expert in all matters related to applicable Civil Rights laws, regulations, and policies.
